Angel One

Add and validate your Angel One account in QUANT LEVELS.

In short: Create a SmartAPI app on Angel One's developer portal, copy the API Key, then add the account here with your Client Code, 4-digit PIN, and TOTP Secret Key. No API Secret needed for Angel One.

Step 1 - Create a SmartAPI app

  1. Sign up at smartapi.angelbroking.com and click Add App.
  2. Give it any App Name, then paste these:

  3. Copy the generated API Key.

Step 2 - Add the account

  1. Go to Accounts → Add New Account.
  2. Select Broker as Angel One.
  3. Enter your Angel One Client Code, 4-digit PIN, TOTP Secret Key, and the API Key from Step 1.
  4. Save. Your token auto-refreshes every day at 8:30 AM.

Common Issues

Login fails with an invalid credentials error

Double-check the 4-digit PIN - Angel One's login PIN is separate from any trading PIN or MPIN used elsewhere.

TOTP mismatch

The TOTP Secret Key must be the one shown when enabling 2FA on Angel One's app/website, not a code from an unrelated authenticator entry.

Copy trading on Angel One

Angel One sends a live postback for account order activity, including manually placed trades, so an Angel One master account is detected immediately with no extra setup.
