Add and validate your 5paisa account in QUANT LEVELS.
5paisa automated login is not live yet on this platform - daily auto-login doesn't work for this broker yet. Do not add a 5paisa account for real trading until this notice is removed.
Step 1 - Get your API credentials
- Register as a 5paisa API developer at xstream.5paisa.com.
- Copy your Vendor Key / User Key and EncryKey - you'll paste these into Vendor Key and EncryKey when adding the account.
- Note the UserID that comes along with your API credentials (this is separate from your demat Client Code).
Step 2 - Set up TOTP
- On the 5paisa app or web, make sure TOTP (2FA) is registered on your account - if not, register it now.
- During registration, choose "enter key manually" instead of scanning the QR code to get the plain-text TOTP Secret Key.
- Note your login PIN as well - you'll need both.
Step 3 - Add the account
- Go to Accounts → Add New Account.
- Select Broker as 5paisa.
- Enter your 5paisa Client Code, PIN, the TOTP Secret Key from Step 2, the Vendor Key and EncryKey from Step 1, and the UserID.
- Save.
5paisa's own API only documents a browser-based OAuth login (no direct headless TOTP endpoint) - once live, this platform automates that browser flow daily on your behalf, the same way it does for IIFL.
FAQ
What's the difference between Client Code, Vendor Key, and UserID?
Client Code is your 5paisa demat account number (used to log in and identify your account). Vendor Key/EncryKey/UserID are a separate set of API credentials 5paisa issues for programmatic access - all required together to exchange a login token for an access token.
